This meeting targeted the respective roles and responsibilities of ACOS/R&D, AO/R&D, IRB Administrator, ISO, Privacy Officer and RCO, and how they can work together to enhance their local research programs. It also provided an opportunity to network with others who have similar responsibilities, and with ORD, Office of Research Oversight (ORO), VHA Privacy Office, and VA IT Field Security Operations staff.
