DESCRIPTION (provided by applicant): As a new addition to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual-5 (DSM-5), Hoarding Disorder (HD) is defined by persistent difficulty parting with possessions due to distress associated with discarding, urges to save, and/or difficulty making decisions about what to keep or dispose of.
