 DESCRIPTION (provided by applicant): Project Summary WNK kinases are a family of serine/threonine kinases (1). Mutations of WNK1 and WNK4 kinases result in pseudohypoaldosteronism type II (PHA II), featuring hypertension, hyperkalemia and metabolic acidosis (4).
