DESCRIPTION (provided by applicant): Bone disease occurs in over 80% of Multiple Myeloma (MM) patients and is characterized by severe osteolytic bone destruction accompanied by profoundly suppressed or absent bone formation that has devastating consequences for patients These consequences include pathologic fractures, severe bone pain and derangements in mineral metabolism that negatively impact survival, performance status and quality of life.
