Hylemon, Ph.D. Title: “Bile Acids and Clostridium scindens Inhibit C. difficile: Role of Secreted Antibacterial Compounds” Clostridium difficile, the cause of antibiotic associated diarrhea and colitis, is a growing health threat for patients taking broad spectrum antibiotics.
