Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a significant contributor to recalcitrant multi-drug resistant infections especially in immunocompromised and hospitalized patients. Multi-drug and totally drug resistant strains of P. aeruginosa are increasing threats that contribute to high mortality in these patients (1, 2).
