Background: The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is advocating that Veterans with serious mental ill- ness (SMI) receive recovery-oriented, rehabilitation approaches that target real-world functioning. One such approach is Cognitive-Behavioral Social Skills Training (CBSST).
