The overall focus of my work as a Senior VA Research Career Scientist has been to study the effect of oxidative stress and mitochondrial dysfunction in age-related conditions such as sarcopenia and frailty, and in the neurodegenerative disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
